| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah nice, I'm glad to see the main characters return again. What a sight to see especially with the weird sibling relationship. Atsushi and Kyouka still maintains a connection although it wasn't pleasant to see Kyouka's fear. Looks like they introduced Ozaki. Golden Demon is quite an ability! Really interesting to see some of the more dangerous antagonists now. I bet Akiko had a load of fun |

| OP clip changed slightly for new arc. Showing Lovely-dopey sibling, and the brother mentioning briefly, which he was confused? surprised?, why the girl was chosen to be the Mafia member before. The girl facing a wall to her first mission. She can only do what she knew, to make ruckus, though. A Mafia member, similar skill as her, came to pick her up. The lady told her that her parents were killed by her skills. Not just more recruits from both groups, but also from third party came. Guild got everyone, though. Main group got the lady in captive, while Mafia planning to attack the leader but failed because he's strong. Main group plans to divide into three groups: 1 defense, 2 offenses. Though Mafia already followed them to the hideout. Battle between 3 parties begins. Finally ED clip. |

| the new op is lit af . They even spoiled an ability in it . They even teased us with soukoku and shin soukoku moments in the op . Lol at kyouka's failed infiltration . Goes to show how much the port mafia manipulated a child like her before and instilled in her assassination skills and instincts . It's the only thing she's good at . Big sis kouyou is waifu material lol . I hoped they'd choose a good VA for her . They up-ed the pace a bit , but it's all for the better. Actually for a 3 chapter in 1 episode, it's quite decent . They didn't leave out anything important . Now chuuya knows their hideout . Tbh, the guild members are easier to relate to in the literary aspect of this show (which is sadly disregarded by many watching) as many have read several of their books . Nice episode to set up things further . Also Lovecraft and Steinbeck best boys of the guild . |

| Some trivia : Steinbeck (who crashed his truck in that scene) called the truck Rocinante which is the name of don quixote's horse in "Don Quixote" , and the name of the camper truck in Steinbeck's book "Travels with Charley" . Can't wait to see "The Great Old One" in action lol they already managed to capture Lovecraft's creepy nature . Well the real Lovecraft did write horror fictions, so maybe it's fitting for this Lovecraft to be creepy . also his VA is just 19 years old with that much of a deep voice lol . |

| Awesome new visuals for the OP. Great to see everyone again. Atsushi getting stabbed multiple times gotta hurt. Golden Demon is deadly. Kyouka is missing DAMN The Guild is powerful taking out everyone. Akiko treatment. How nice. 3 way battle. The Armed Agency vs The Port Mafia vs The Guild. Lets see who comes out on top. |

| So we're back to the main plot. I was hoping they would change the OP but I guess they only changed the visuals. I have mixed feelings on them focusing on Kyouka again but it was a good episode. |

| So it really is 4 episodes of greatness and 8 episodes of blandness. Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for average show. But it's just that I was so happy with first 4 episodes I forgot how much I didn't care about the cast of first season. |

His book "Naomi" depicted the main girl naomi as dominant, manipulative, and sexually aggressive which brings the connection to the 2 characters relation. |

| Alright, even though I don't remember why exactly these 3 groups are fighting, this seems interesting. This show reminds me of Elfen Lied, :p I have a lot of questions though: (which I hope will be answered in this season only) 1. The guy in that female port mafia executive's flashback. Dazai? 2. The girl with the port-mafia boss doesn't seem to have aged in 4 years. Is that her ability? 3. Is there any symbolism behind Dazai's bandage( in 4th ep and in the ED, they are kinda focused upon in a few scenes)? 4. When will we get to see the Agency chief's ability? XD I think it will always remain a mystery. :p Also, Kyouka fails to grab my interest as always, i hope there is better character development for her later on. |

| Amazing start for the new arc. Guild were really strong, they wipe out them with just a missile like gift attack. I guess Agency and Port Mafia really having a hard time with the Guild. Poor Kyouka, her power killed her parents, though I'm thinking how if her power is only acting through the voice command of her phone, so maybe not her fault, but someone from the Port mafia. I like the new OP Visuals and as well as the ED, kinda the same with the previous one. "Sweetness is Justice"- Elise-chan.... L.Lawliet approves xD |

And I believe that yes, they're almost if not all named after British/American lit authors. I really, really wanna call it the "Old Man Hottie Trifecta" for some reason smh lol at least subs were finally released |

| I was expecting this moment since the last week after marathoning the entire Guild arc, and what I could say, it was great overall. They didn't skipped anything important (though I would have liked seeing everyone of the Guild ignoring Mark Twain xD) and it was a nice episode overall. They even made Kouyou less irritating this time compared to the manga (must be because her voice actress) and showed the badassery of the Guild pretty well despite that they didn't showed anything of their abilities (like happened too in the manga). On another note, the boss of the Port Mafia will never cease to amaze me with his lolicon tendencies. I also have the feeling they made Fitzgerald expressions a bit more over the top than in the manga. The ost was amazing too, especially the one when the Guild rekts everyone and the one when Fitzgerald talks with Steinbeck about his past and goals. Taku Iwasaki is truly amazing. Loved too how they protrayed Steinbeck and Lovecraft. Lovecraft's voice is fucking perfect, and they portrayed the weirdness/creepyness of the character greatly. Cannot wait to see him in action, and I hope Bones delivers justice to him (and the entire Guild for that). With this episode, now the true greatness of Bungou Stray Dogs has oficially started. Btw, the new opening visuals are great. Loved pretty much everything from it. I also noticed they spoiled Cannot wait to see that in motion. It was a metaphore of Dazai deciding to take a new path and being releasing by Odasaku of his previous existence by deciding to be a person helping people to discover his true meaning of life (or that is the interpretation I have about that).3. That makes sense. As, in the ED they show Akutagawa catching the bandage, but then it slips from his hands, but Atsushi holds it firmly. No idea what it meant when Odasaku removed it accidentally last ep. The ending animation of Dazai's bandages with Akutagawa and Atsushi will be explained as the season progresses, but it was kinda explained in the first season (Akutagawa was Dazai's subordinate in his days on the Port Mafia and failed to have his approbation, in contrast to Atsushi). |
